  • How do I become a Private Investigator in Oklahoma?
Private Investigators in Oklahoma must be licensed by the Council on Law Enforcement Education and Training (CLEET). This state agency located in Oklahoma City can provide information regarding required training and other licensing requirements. You may want to read CLEET's Rules and Regulations. CLEET can be contacted at 405.425.2775.

For someone starting without experience, it is sometimes difficult to find employment with an established PI agency, but not impossible. Many PI's have former law enforcement experience, which is of great benefit.

If you ARE licensed or do obtain your license, the OPIA welcomes your membership to the organization.

I hope I've been helpful in answered your questions, but if not, feel free to contact me.
