Here at Opia, we are thrilled that our client LG was awarded Silver in the Incentive and Reward Design category of the 2021 Loyalty360 Awards, based on a sales promotion we facilitated for them.

The recognised campaign was LG’s TV Streaming and Gaming Gift-With-Purchase (GWP) promotion, which went live in time for the 2020 festive holidays in the US. Customers were offered $100 credit to use with one of the five top media subscription providers when purchasing a new LG OLED or NanoCell TV screen. The credit could be used towards gaming or streaming with companies such as Amazon Prime Video, Hulu, Showtime, Sling or Xbox.

The promotion was recognised as generating excitement and high-levels of customer satisfaction, as well as providing LG with a competitive edge and cut-through in a crowded and aggressive market.

Successful entrants to the Incentive and Reward Design category impressed judges with a 10–12-minute presentation on a chosen promotion or rewards program, enabling attendees to learn first-hand how brands set themselves apart from their competition in creating loyal customers.

NeoCurrency, the company that facilitated prize fulfilment for the promotion and a valued supplier of Opia’s, were there with us on the night to collect the award.

The Loyalty360 Awards are based in the United States, and they recognise brands that are building stronger and deeper loyalty with their customers in a proactive, meaningful, and measurable way.
